Remington Deployed in Iraq
One thing the
American soldier takes with him when he’s sent overseas is his trusty
Remington shaver. A special favorite of troops with uncertain access
to water and electricity is our compact, battery-powered MSC-100.
Anticipating this, the company diverted shipments of the popular shaver from all over the country—some 70,000 units—to supply American fighting men. It created a temporary shortage of the unit here at home but, as company president Neil DeFeo writes, "We felt that we needed to support our Armed Services as a priority."
Supplies of the MSC-100 returned to normal levels in April.
